Ever since the Saucony Kinvara came out, I have been in love with it. This update to the shoe is no different. I have been racing in the Saucony Kinvara for 5 years now, and it is amazing. It is like running on clouds. It is light and cushiony. I LOVE cushion. It’s easy on the knees and ankles and feet. But, it’s not so cushiony that you feel like you are sinking. It’s the perfect bounce that puts a spring in your step.
I think what I love most about the update with the Saucony Kinvara 6 is the new lacing system. It keeps your foot comfortably snug, and where it laces keeps a perfect mid-foot fit. I really feel comfortable running hills in them, my heel isn’t sliding out the back, and I’m hitting that mid-foot strike every time. 🙂 There’s something about the mesh and the fit of the shoe that is different this go around. I really like the mesh and progrid form. I feel like this shoe more than past versions really keeps my foot in place, and there isn’t much sliding around, which I occasionally got with the 5.
I really think the upgrades on this shoe are noticeably compared to other versions, and are worth it! Can’t wait to race in them this weekend!
Seriously bouncing on clouds like Mario bouncing on mushrooms 😛
LOVE THIS SHOE!
